How to reset oil life light cadillac ats

1 Turn ignition on by pressing start button and hold it for few seconds, but do not step on brake pedal at the same time, if you do the engine will start and you cannot reset the oil life.
2 Make sure all the lights do come on after that, check engine, abs, brake and so.
3 Steep on gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. (All the way down and up)
4 Turn ignition off and restart the engine. The message you go off for OIL LIFE

good info, sure beating having to make the trip to a Cadillac dealership, wait, and eventually get a tech or knowledgeable person in the service dept to reset the light. do you have any other info on how to reset the other lights?
