Check Out These New Cadillac ATS Spy Shots

The Cadillac ATS Coupe prototype was spotted during a test drive in Detroit as it gets the attention it needs to compete with its German rivals. The camouflage will keep us in the dark about the finer detail of the design, but we can tell that it has longer doors than its sedan cousin, and a "sharp-looking fastback roof that leads into an integrated V-shaped spoiler at the edge of the trunk."

Other design features include a new grille with two horizontal character lines going across the slatted grille surface, and a rounder rear bumper on the ATS sedan's rear.

A public debut of the ATS coupe is expected at the 2013 LA auto show.
