AST4 vs CTS2 $7.00 per tank more expensive
I was literally shocked to find out this:
2016 ATS vs 2017 CTS
ATS 4WD 2 litre goes 108 kph at 2000 RPM
CTS 2WD 2 litre goes 130 kph at 2000 RPM
ATS 4WD 2 litre gets 7.3 l/100km and under the same conditions,
CTS 2WD 2 litre gets 5.8 l/100km
You can figure out why it's $7 per tank more expensive to drive a 4WD over a 2WD 'EVERY' day of the year.
This is my first post and I hope it makes it in, because I will never drive at 4WD car again.
Not so with the 2017 FORD 150 ecoboost six cylinder 4WD which does about 139 kph at 2000 RPM and has great gas mileage.

I was surprised to learn the following information:
Comparing the 2016 ATS to the 2017 CTS, the ATS 4WD 2-liter model reaches a maximum speed of 108 kph at 2000 RPM, while the CTS 2WD 2-liter model reaches a maximum speed of 130 kph at 2000 RPM. Additionally, under the same conditions, the ATS 4WD 2-liter model gets 7.3 liters per 100km, whereas the CTS 2WD 2-liter model gets 5.8 liters per 100km. This means that driving a 4WD car is $7 per tank more expensive than driving a 2WD car every day of the year. This information has convinced me that I will never drive a 4WD car again. However, the 2017 Ford 150 EcoBoost six-cylinder 4WD is an exception to this rule as it can reach about 139 kph at 2000 RPM and still has great gas mileage.
