Why have both?

AutoGuide also owns the biggest (and very busy) Cadillac forum site. So I'm curious why they keep this one that often goes days (compared to seconds) between posts. Why not just keep the domain and point it to the other Cadillac forum (maybe the ATS section)?

Good Question. There are a few reason why we don't do this. For one the Community. Just because two forum share a common interest or in this case car, does not mean the communities are identical so merging two into one might not be a good idea. Also there are some forum that we start ourselves and grow and others we purchase off site owners looking to sell the forum. If we were to merge a bought forum into one of our built forums I'm sure it would upset members from both places and we do not want that. So it is best to keep communities as they're and help them grow.
