Cadillac ATS by D3 unveiled

Cadillac tuner D3 has just unveiled a new upgrade package for the 2013 ATS, which is adding some subtle changes for the sedan.

The General Motors answer to models like the BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4 or the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is named the ATS and if the model seemed interesting before, it will seem even more interesting now, thanks to the company’s tuner, D3, which has released an upgrade package for the sedan. According to D3, the Cadillac ATS in question is adding a black grille, new side skirts, a different front bumper, a deck-lid, a roof spoiler and a choice of different alloy wheels.

The tuning company hasn’t released any technical specifications on the Cadillac ATS but we know that the model is getting a new air intake system and the so-called “Street” and “Competition” lowering springs, along with a coil-over system. Additional details on the model are limited but the standard version is carrying a 2.0 liter four-cylinder unit, producing 270 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque, a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder with 200 HP and 188 lb-ft of torque and a 3.6 liter V6 engine, generating 318 HP And 267 lb-ft. Prices for the model start at 33,990 USD, while the top of the line is available from 41,090 USD.
